![]() ![]() It use to have all walks of life playing, and the everyday man could follow the pros. Poker lacks personality that it had in the poker boom. So can it even be ethical to suggest people play knowing that it a) is self serving and helps no one b)the rules are bent for bad players if we enforced the rules the games go to shiite Throw in the ugly truth that pokerplaying dunces inadvertently pointed out that if we clear up games to make them less toxic then we risk ruining the games anyway. I’ve rationalized this away for years claiming other occupations are similar which is actually really bad logic. I’m already convinced poker is pretty much zero sum and has no benefit on the world. Is the ethical move to clean up the game or is it actually to tell people not to play? ![]() This thread has me really thinking this morning…
